Founded by Anaya Grover and Duncan Orrock, AMP Pilates is the culmination of 30+ years training and experience to bring Pilates inspired movement to people who want to lead and maintain an active lifestyle to increase strength & mobility, lessen injuries, increase performance, lessen pain & decrease stress. Anaya Grover is a highly qualified Pilates Teacher with 17+ years experience and qualifications in rehab, performance and fascial movement. She fell in love with Pilates after picking up career ending sports injury and has been sharing her knowledge and passion ever since. Despite not fulfilling her dream of playing professional sport, she now teaches Elite Athletes – working with England Cricket, Premiership Football team – Brighton & Hove Albion. Using Pilates to maintain an active lifestyle is at the cornerstone of her ethos. She enjoys playing competitive tennis, running, dog walking and lifting weights (which sometimes includes lifting her children)!
Duncan Orrock has been teaching Pilates for over 17 years and was part of the Teacher Training team for Body Control Pilates for over 12 years. Duncan is certified in all aspects of Matwork and Studio Equipment. He is also a keen runner, having competed in 21 marathons, four 50k’s and numerous half marathons and 10k races. He has continued to attend educational and development courses for himself and uses this knowledge to help runners and athletes of all levels. Duncan developed the Pilates for Runners teacher training course, and along with this he now teaches his own movement workshops around the UK and abroad. Duncan has completed 9 days of the AiM (Anatomy in Motion) Immersion course, and the Closed Chain Biomechanics of the Lower Limb. Duncan runs his own Studio, and he also teaches out of a studio at the Victoria Park Harriers running club in London. Duncan is also an educator for SPINEFITTER by SISSEL®.
